How to solve Tachpro Kit V2.0 connection error?

One of the Tacho Pro Kit users in the VW forum came across some difficulty with using the odometer correction tool.

Problem:. After complete install the Tacho Pro Kit V2.0 software on win xp mode, he connected the device with computer and plugged it into the diagnostic socket but to find that software was not compatible with the computer com port The windows pops out an error message reading: "The system can not open COM2 port requested by the application Choose 'Close' to terminate the application." (shown as the picture below)

Aobd2shop engineer analyzed and kindly offers the solution.

The question was that the user connect the device with none com port computer via USB cable. He should change another computer with com port via com cable in the package.

Tacho Pro Kit V2.0 Software Install Tips:
1. The Tacho Pro software might not work on PC`s that are faster than 233 MHZ.
2. Interface electronic of the Tachopro & K / L is the same, only tachoPro have the dongle inside.
3. Make sure using the Tacho pro Software under PLAIN DOS only not under windows or a windows command shell

Solved Carprog Full V6.8 Questions

Q1: The error occurred (shown at picture below) after finishing self-diagnosis And how to read Carprog full self-diagnostic result.?

A: The self-diagnostic result is shown on upper part of this above picture, while the lower part suggests that you need to change the 4 pieces of chip in the red circle.

Q2: As the screen indicates "No device attached", what could be the problem?

A: Come to the "Device Manager" and to check whether the "USB Human Interface Device" is found.

Q3: Carprog Full V6.8, the V6.8 is software version or hardware version:
A: It is software version

Q4: How to solve when you come across the following problem.

A: It may cause by customer mistake (send back the main hardware for repaire) You must keep in mind that do not update the software online or do not use other's software, only our software is available to use..

Need a cheap Chrysler Pin code reader

Hi, Apple,

I just started the auto work recently and bought a car key programmer and would like to make a new key for a Chrysler in my garage. However, it requires me to provide PIN code of the car before starting the programming. I realized that AD offered a trade in deal for about the same price as the programmer. Thinking I may have liked to switch to the code. So I am wondering that do you have any products that can pull Chrysler pin codes? If yes, please give me more info about it, like function and update.
