Daytime running lights or DRLs are the very important element that claim make driving safer. Tool:
A laptop running windows 7 operating system (ONLY)

2) Enter vehicle model, type, year etc information to proceed
3) Connect the Volvo VIDA DICE unit into the OBD diagnostic socket
4) Select "DIAGNSOTIC" in the function menu.
The default setting is Flexnoll. Switch it to Flexstd and click program. Click "Programmed values" >> Daytime run-lights >> Flexstd

5) Select "Information" function option. Daytime running light (DRL box) is a light gray and inactive. You can check the DRL status. Click "Start programming" to disable daytime running lights.

6) If you need to diagnose other ECU modules, back to the Diagnostic function interface. Otherwise, exit the program.

How to solve Tachpro Kit V2.0 connection error?

One of the Tacho Pro Kit users in the VW forum came across some difficulty with using the odometer correction tool.
Problem:. After complete install the Tacho Pro Kit V2.0 software on win xp mode, he connected the device with computer and plugged it into the diagnostic socket but to find that software was not compatible with the computer com port The windows pops out an error message reading: "The system can not open COM2 port requested by the application Choose 'Close' to terminate the application." (shown as the picture below)

The question was that the user connect the device with none com port computer via USB cable. He should change another computer with com port via com cable in the package.
